The real risk 30 years ago was that he dies from all the McDonalds Sees and Coke 29 years ago.

You never mentioned Munger. You don't think Charlie would have something to say if he saw buffet losing his fastball in 2008/2011? If you don't think the board would listen to Munger then you really don't know anything about Brk. I would also throw in Thomas Murphy. Munger and Murphy would not be shy in telling the truth to Buffet.

You are still depending on both guys losing their fastball at the same time. The probability of both is less than the probability of one. Plus one could judge if either is "slipping" from their marathon annual meeting and follow up tv interviews.
